Welcome to Rye Meadow Ranch, a first generation family ranch in Bradenton, Florida, specializing in Scottish Highland cattle and Highland crosses. What began as a love for Scottish Highland cattle has grown into a place where we can share our passion for agriculture, care for the animals we love, and welcome others to experience a little bit of ranch life for themselves.

At Rye Meadow Ranch, we believe some of life's best moments are the simplest ones. A quiet morning on the porch, the sound of cattle grazing in the pasture, gathering fresh eggs from the coop, or watching a child meet a Highland cow for the very first time. These are the moments that remind us to slow down, spend time outside, and appreciate the world around us.

Our animals are at the heart of everything we do. Each one has a personality entirely their own, and getting to know them is one of our favorite parts of ranch life. We care deeply about how our animals are raised and believe that sharing them with others is also an opportunity to teach respect, responsible animal care, and good stewardship.

We are a first generation ranching family, and we did not grow up in agriculture. We have been incredibly fortunate to learn from farmers, ranchers, FFA students, and others in the agricultural community who have shared their knowledge with us along the way. That has made education an especially meaningful part of Rye Meadow Ranch. We want children and families to have the opportunity to experience agriculture firsthand, ask questions, learn where their food comes from, and better understand the work and care that goes into raising animals.

As the ranch continues to grow, so do the ways we hope to share it. From Highland Cow Experiences and seasonal events to photography, educational programs, literacy activities, and hands on learning, we are creating a place where families can spend time together, learn something new, and make memories along the way.

Rye Meadow Ranch is built around family, community, education, kindness, and a genuine love for agriculture. Our vision has always been to create a place that feels timeless. A place where every season brings new traditions, every visit tells a story, and people can step away from the busyness of everyday life for a little while.
